Destruction is an act of creation (that's a paraphrase of a Pablo Picasso quote). In our context, it means that when that house got destroyed in my Cleveland neighborhood, I got access to a lot of cool things to use as the basis of new texture packs.
After the rusted blue metal textures, the brick textures, the extreme scratched metal textures, and the painted wood textures, I'm happy to bring you the weathered grime textures!
The set is made of thirty-seven (37) base textures. They feature some cool grime/mud/miscellaneous scum patterns, in all their smeared, dusty, dirty glory. Think of dripping sludge against the wall. What's amazing about them is that you can use them to build up the most intense of background, or to have the most organic of masking element.
They were edited using Adobe Camera Raw, and Photoshop, for minor adjustments (lens distortion, color, exposure, orientation). They come in many different formats, to be as versatile as your workflow demands: color JPGs, black and white (positives, negatives), transparent (positives, negatives), and Bitmap TIFFs (positives, negatives).
