![]() Paste From SketchUp to 3Dsmax Script v1.14/1.37 MZP | RBZ | 410 KB MAIN FEATURES: Paste in 3ds Max: using New Importer or Legacy Importer (old SketchUp Importer of 3ds Max). Clean Paste: paste only visible geometry, auto skip camera, hidden object, enviroment and daylight system. Remove Shape: auto remove shape when pasting into 3ds Max. Center Pivot: set pasted objects pivot to center. This script has two method of "paste" in 3dsMax: new importer and legacy importer (old skp importer of 3dsMax). Warning: the old legacy "copy" method (1.02 and older) of script sometime can cause sudden crashes when used incorrectly (mostly in SketchUp), so read the user manual carefully before using it. When you unzip the installation file, you will see both Legacy Method and New Method installer. Currently, Legacy Method is no longer supported and updated, and may be removed in the future. HOW IT WORKS? Old Method: Suitable for 3dsMax 2009 and above, but very slow and can cause crashes. When using the "Copy to 3dsMax" function in SketchUp, it will "export" what you are selecting to a new temporary SKP file (version 8 to ensure compatibility with everything) at the path "C:\Temp\". You can hide this folder in windows if it annoys you, the script will still work normally. If the Temp folder is not deleted, you can "paste" it at any time, even after rebooting. Big thanks to TIG for the "export" method. When using the "Paste from SketchUp" function in 3dsMax, it will import 3dsmax_temp.skp silently into 3dsMax with the last skp import setting. New Method: Suitable for 3dsMax 2020 and above (it can still be installed on 3dsMax 2019 and below, but it can only "Paste" models copied from SketchUp 2014 and below). This method is very fast and less bug. When using the "Copy to 3dsMax" function in SketchUp, it will make what you are selecting to a new component, with global orgin, then save this component as a new temporary SKP file (due to API limitations, it will only be able to save with a version of SketchUp equal to the version being installed.) at the Temp folder of Windows (%temp%). When using the "Paste from SketchUp" function in 3dsMax, it will import temporary SketchUp file silently into 3dsMax with the last SKP import setting. HOW TO INSTALL? You must have the script installed in both 3dsMax and SketchUp for it to work. It doesn't matter which one you install first. In SketchUp: use Extension Manager to install RBZ file. The "Copy to 3dsMax" command will appear in the Extensions menu. In 3dsMax: drag and drop mcr or ms file into the viewport. You can find it in categories D95 DESIGN > Paste from SketchUp. SET SHORTCUT: In SketchUp: Windows > Preferences > Shorcut > Copy to 3dsMax (Ctrl + Shift + C recommend). In 3dsMax: Customize User Interface > Keyboard > D95 DESIGN > Paste from SketchUp (Ctrl + Shift + V recommend). Note that from version 1.25, this script will only support SketchUp 2022 and higher. If you want use this script for SketchUp 2021 and lower, please install 1.14 version. Уважаемый посетитель, Вы зашли на сайт как незарегистрированный пользователь..
